Yes , but I think MEDITECH has to make it work for you. We are client
server 5.4 sr 3. In the
Outbox routine we have a function of copy a message. We can make the
status of the copied message
Queued and it reques it. In some of the messages it works and in some it
doesn't. I have used
It for our acuity and pacs ADT messages going from MEDITECH to the other
vendors software.
It is really handy because otherwise you have to edit a patients
registration to get new message
To go across.

Hi Gale,
NMI does not allow to resend a single message. I am not familiar with
the routine you are referring to? Have you ever done that, and on what
menu did you use? Thanks.

If you Copy the message as Queued , does it resend ?

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Resending RAD reports

I would like to post this to the L list.

Hello,
We have $T RAD and have had some issues with RAD reports rejecting on
the OV PACS side. After the problem was corrected on the Meditech side,
the reports need to be resent to PACS. In order to resend the reports,
we are having one of our RAD support staff edit the arrival date and
time in the Amend signed report menu option in order to create a new
message in NMI that will get sent to PACS. The problem with this is now
there is a RAD support staff name as having amended the report. There
is no way in NMI to resend a message, so editting the report is the only
solution. Has anyone else run into a similar issue. Please let me know
your solution. Thanks!
