Howard County
General Hospital (HCGH) is recruiting for the position of Senior Applications
Analyst, within the Information Technology (IT) Department.
HCGH (www.hcgh.org) is a 200 bed community hospital,
located in Columbia, MD - a suburban community located almost
exactly midpoint between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. HCGH is part of
the Johns Hopkins Medicine organization. Regarding its IT environment, HCGH
operates the MEDITECH Magic HCIS - currently on 5.5, SR2 (MEDITECH was
originally installed in 1995/96).
HCGH is a very
progressive user of information technology, especially in the clinical and
patient care areas. HCGH has most of the available MEDITECH Magic
administrative, financial, and clinical modules implemented, including the
most recently implemented eMAR and Bedside Medication Verification
(BMV) module. Currently, HCGH is in the midst of implementing the MEDITECH
Authorization and Referral Management (ARM), Nursing Point of Care,
Physician Care Manager (PCM), and Emergency Department (EDM) modules. In
addition, HCGH is also in the midst of implementing the Iatric Systems MobiLab
application, for phlebotomy positive patient
identification.
This Senior
Applications Analyst position will be responsible for supporting an assigned
group of MEDITECH modules, along with report writer responsibilities and project
assignments (such as new implementations). To be qualified for this position,
the candidate must have 3-5 years of analyst experience in an acute healthcare
setting, with prior experience with MEDITECH strongly
preferred.
