We also discontinue med orders that the MD puts on hold.
 
Unless the med is being held for a certain period of time, like 2 days, then we 
would 
restart the order at that time.

To those of you who are using Pharmacy order entry: 
If a Physician writes for an order to be on hold, how does pharmacy enter that 
into the computer?  Currently our pharmacy discontinues that order and the 
Physician has to rewrite the order when they want it to restart.
