We are looking at optimizing our OE and NUR system in preparation for CPOE and
have a couple of questions. We use a variety of methods to determine
mnemonics in lookups and want to standardize these across modules. Some
modules use the first 2 or 3 letters of a word and others use a combination
from several words such as CXR for chest xray. So am checking to see what
other hospitals are using and if you encourage modules to use the same format.

The second is regarding plans of care. We currently use NANDA, NIC, NOC in
meditech but want to determine if there is a better method. Is anyone using
something else that works well? If so I would really like to talk with you.

Thank you,

Jeanne Hesseling
