Tara, Hi. At this time, our EMR IDs are added/entered in our dictionaries depending only on what you want to display in Clinical Review. Even by doing this, we have entered many EMR IDs, not to mention requesting more EMR IDs from Meditech. Our PCM Core Team included different staff members from different departments (Pharmacy, Nursing, Lab, Rad)who were very helpful reviewing and entering EMR IDs for each dictionary for their area. We still have EMR IDs that have not been used. Your example about a Holter monitor order sounds reasonable to not enter an EMR ID if there isn't anything documented....we would do the same thing if it is not needed to be displayed in C/R.
