I was asked to post this to the L: I would like to hear from any Meditech users who print blood unit tags for identification. We would like a system that uses a three part form, pulls in demographics and BB bracelet number, pertinent unit and recipient information, and a way to document vitals. If this is something that your hospital does, did you have to use a different vendor than Meditech? Was any special software programming needed? As always, thank you for any help I can get!
