How are other facilities handling this scenario: A Pre-Registration is done
and the patients insurance is pulled from Demo Recall, and since we have
CWS, we also do order entry. Well, when the patient presents, we find out
the insurance should have been updated to Medicare, so the Pre-Registration
is updated and brought to Full-Registration. Now, the order that was
entered in CWS didn't require Medical Necessity at the time, but may now,
since the insurance was updated.

How are you addressing these cases?
Did you contact Meditech? If so, what response did you receive?
Any work arounds?
Any thoughts?

TIA,
