We never have to reboot outside of our scheduled downtimes. We run MS Server 
2000 and 2003 for our BKG jobs and MT File servers. I do know the last place I 
worked we were on NT before switching to 2000 and 2003 and had many many issues 
with rebooting.

Hi,

 

Does anyone out there have to restart background jobs often d/t info not 
transferring across the different applications?  We seem to have to restart our 
bkg jobs at least twice-three times a week, sometimes that many times in one 
day.  Does anyone else experience this?  We did it twice last night and once 
today b/c info from PCS was not transferring to the EMR.
