Hi, I am currently working with a client to help address their slow turnaround times for transcribed reports in Health Records. One of the strategies that we have come up with to help address this issue is to fast track the use of voice recognition technology. I would like to get an understanding of what sites out there are using voice recognition in MEDITECH to support transcription functions in various applications ie. PTH, ITS for Radiology, Health Records or any other applications.
If you are currently using voice recognition software in MEDITECH, can you please tell me: 1. What are you using, and for what application(s)? 2. How does it integrate with MEDITECH (ie. Workflow)? 3. What are the requirements for implementation? 4. What vendors are being utilized? I appreciate your help!
