Valerie - I've heard of people doing this successfuly at MUSE meetings. I
don't know if there were any pitfalls or not. I don't know how Meditech
purges all of the Medispan information and replaces it with FDB information,
but there must be some way. The one thing I've heard is that Meditech will
charge you for the formulary interface again at several thousand dollars.
However, Meditech has always done more things with FDB than Medispan or
Micromedex such as the allergens and order strings for AOM.
