We are doing some research in productivity for our Radiology department. It
appears that the standard statistics reports are showing too many exams. The
number is not equivalent to the number of patients seen. I know that some
patients get combined procedures (such as an MRI with and without contrast
could be counted as two exams, or not). Some patients may truly get two
exams, such as a Mammography and an ultrasound. How do we get a number that
represents the number of patients seen?

Also, I understand MediTech is capturing timing of visits but it is not
entered accurately. Is there anyone working with this type of information
and how are they handling the timing issue?
