This may be a little off topic but I would really appreciate any
feedback.
Our CEO is looking into getting a sliding scale Community Clinic started
up so that it could move non-urgents out of the ER. The concept is that
the ER would decide at Triage if they can be referred to the clinic. I
do have some questions regarding this.
Do you keep the patient's chart at the Clinic?
How do you handle the charges for the patient?
What is the process if you have one, that is followed once the patient
is referred, is there certain forms that are printed over to the clinic
ahead of time?
Do you have any type of Pharmacy at the clinic, or do you keep samples
in a locked cabinet?
Were there any major obstacles you faced upon opening a clinic or any
advice to follow?
Again, I would really appreciate as much feedback as possible from any
site that has a Community Clinic setup. Thanks,
