Donna, We have always had techs enter unverified orders and then pharmacists verify. We believe this gives us a second check and wouldn't consider doing it any other way. (The only orders a pharmacist enters are those in an order set, it just saves time.) It has always worked well for us, although I believe there are only a handful of hospitals doing this. Valerie
