Like I said in an earlier post, we use it because it does not have the other
inherent security issues of typical VPN solutions (do you know what the
doc's kids have been downloading on their home network?). We have also
modified it to launch a Citrix connection to our ED system.

Actually NetAccess is not limited to MEDITECH and we have users who use it
as a front-end for RDP.

We use Citrix and love it, but Microsoft's RDP thin client is also an
option. Both options are not limited to just Meditech like NetAccess from
Interbit Data. We are fans of open ended solutions.

Your best bet is to look into NetAccess from Interbit Data. The software
cost is minimal, the deployment is a cinch, and the users install the VPN
software themselves in seconds.

Hello L list

i am curious what most of the hospitals are using for remote meditech from
user and doctor office

we are using vpn clients...and thinking of putting vpn boxes out there....

another thought is to put a citrix box out there to and let them hit it...
