Looking for:  Diverse, Flexible, Friendly, with lots of drive and
ambition Point of Service Registration Hospitals, with High Patient
Satisfaction Scores, that have more than 5 decentralized areas; but
would be willing to network/meet with any hospital that would like to
have these qualities.

 

We have been decentralized in our registration area for 3+ years.  We
feel that there must be some hospitals that have recently done this or
have been doing it longer that have great ideas on how to service the
Point of Service Patient and/or department.

 

We want to improve:  teamwork, point of service support, and patient
satisfaction but struggle with hours, budget, staff knowledge, space for
the registration team and point of service areas expectations.    

 

We feel that we are doing a great job related to financial impact and
ensuring that the patient's insurance has been verified, collecting
ABN's on day of service and would be willing to discuss the things we
are doing that have improved this area in the last 3 years.

 

We would be interested in talking one on one to a hospital or getting a
conference line together to just "chat" and "network" with several
hospitals about some of the points stated and any that you may have on
creating or enhancing a better Patient Access Team.
