We are using the 837 format with LSS, we use a clearing house called
Perse. They have a nice product called claims track like a scrubber,
works well. I have a couple offices not using claim track with perse
however and they are problematic. The 837 routines in LSS are actually
pretty easy to use and very efficient in knowing which claims need
further processing prior to submission. I would recommend getting versed
with the 837 specs for physician billing. Very different than hospital
set up.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Setting up Electronic Claims

We are going to set up a Physicians Office using LSS to send Electronic
Claims. Is there anyone out there doing this? Any suggestions or things
I should look for? Who do you use to transmit the claims? Thanks in
advance for the info.
