1. We had to teach NUI at the same time, so it took about 2 hours max.
2. We did not use superusers. The initial training was adequate.
3. We have a separate status board for our unit clerks. Our CNA's are not
currently using the status board.
4. The only problem we had was fixed with the upgrade to 5.5.
5. We made a clean break from the old menu. The users go directly to the status
board when they log on to NUR. The nurses have liked the status board from the
beginning. It's the only thing I've ever implemented that I didn't get
complaints about!

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Status board implementation

Hello everyone.

We are in the process of implementing the Status Board and we have a few
questions for anyone who would be willing to share.

1. How much training did you offer your end users?

2. Did you use super-users, or did you find the initial training adequate?

3. Did you create a separate status board for your CNA's?

4. Did you encounter any problems making the transition from The Nursing
Main Menu to the SB?

5. Did you give your users access to the old menu via. a Magic key for any
length of time after going live with SB or did you make a clean break from the
old menu?

Any other pitfalls, problems encountered would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!!!
