We are running Magic on Dell 2650's to an EMC SAN for the past 5 years. We were very early in the OSAL days so there were not many options. We went with an authorized Meditech partner to have it done. JJ Wild, if I recall correctly, was not yet doing this at the time. Today I believe you are required by Meditech to have this done by one of their authorized reps?
I would recommend having an authorized rep do this. While not difficult, there are a number of steps required where certain unneeded portions of windows are stripped out and you want everything to be done correctly as this box will host your critical patient data. Furthermore, Meditech will point the finger at you if there are issues with windows or the server.
