Meditech C/S, 5.4.3 (5.5.2 in Universe) Windows 2000 servers with mixture of Win XP and W2K desktops connecting remotely
Within the last two months, some of our doctor's offices have been reporting that their EMR session is locking up and a few have reported that they are being disconnected multiple times. Currently, we use Microsoft PPTP as a VPN solution. At one office, we noticed the client disconnecting and reconnecting about every three minutes. At another office, their network was actually "frozen" when their Meditech EMR session was launched. We'd appreciate hearing from anyone who is currently using PPTP as a VPN solution or has experienced similar problems.
