Hi Everyone; We are C/S 5.5 sr2. We will be bringing up our ER radiology room on PACS next week and at some point in the future we will want to stop printing the paper requisitions. Can anyone tell me what you are doing to document your technologists asking patient's if there is any chance of pregnancy? Currently our techs enter this information on the flash cards when they flash the patient information on the film but with PACS that will be going away.
Please let me know how you are documenting if there is any chance of pregnancy. We do have a CDS when they are registering the patients in the ADM module but this information is not always filled in by the registration staff and the radiology technologists need to ask every patient between 12 and 50 and document this.
