Dawn,
Yes we script into the charge master usually once a year when prices
change or if we add new departments. We use Summit Scripting tool.
When you write the script you set the field where the data is to go and
then you can watch it so you know what fields it is going into. You
need to see a demo because it's just like someone entering the
information only the computer is doing it. We do scripting for all
projects that require major data entry.

Is there anyone currently scripting into the BAR Charge Master in
Meditech Magic. If you are, what information are you scripting, how
often, and with what tool? Are there any testing processes in place to
make sure the scripting tool did not enter the incorrect info in the
wrong fields?
