Hey all,
I am new to the Meditech CS world and am currently working on security for the clinical personnel in my facility. In our current system, I have the ability to limit patient access based off of not only the provider group one belongs to but also the location of the pc that one signs in to. For example, a RN on our Women's Health Care would have access to patients in our OB, L& D and of course the nursery departments when signed on to a computer in any of those locations. However, if she floated up to our Critical Care Unit she would then have access to patients in our CCU and also our PCU. I am looking for a way to do this in Meditech and have not had any luck. I know I can set a user or profile to be restricted only to location but that is only one location. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much for your help. Bobby L.
