This is a question for Labs with an interfaced Dimension analyzer: If two lots of the same reagent are calibrated and loaded on the Dimension, the analyzer runs QC on both lots. The analyzer printout has the individual lot results, and then an average of the two results. The interface only transmits the second lots' result. How are you handling the QC documentation in Meditech?
What happens when one lot has an outlier result, and the other lot is acceptable? What goes into Meditech? We are replacing a Vitros with a second Dimension, so are expecting more occurrences of two lots onboard the analyzer. Any advice would be most welcome and appreciated by our Chemistry supervisor!
