Yes, and then we have printing below stating "------------- This
section intentionally left blank. ----------------" several times.
They tried half sheets at the clinic, but it didn't work well for
longevity of the printer trays and they didn't do 2 scripts per sheet
since a pt was only given 1 script the majority of the time and it would
then leave an open script at the bottom that a user may not remember to
mark out before giving it to the pt.

Thanks for the quick response. For clarification, does each
prescription printed take up 1 sheet of 81/2 x 11 paper?

We are using a tray in our laser printer, HP LaserJet 2200 Series PCL
5e. Tray 2 for scripts with security paper and the Departure packet
prints from tray 3. Each tray is identified in the Universe as a
network printer.

We are trying to figure out what type of printer to setup in the ED for
prescription writing as well as the stock to put in it. The following
are what our Meditech specialist said is being used out there. What are
successfully sites using?

Datamax I Class DMX I-4208s
Documax Datasouth
A3300 Series (Tractor Fed)
Epson FX 870 Model P710A
Epson LQ 1170 Model P641A
Genicom 3280
Genicom 3840EP
Lexmark 2380
Lexmark 2380
Okidata Microline 320
Okidata Microline 390
Okidata Microline 520
Okidata Microline 590
Okidata 591

We'd love to hear from anyone that is live with prescription
writing/printing through RXM/EDM. What hardware are you using? How's
the process working out? We have been live with the tracker and nursing
documentation since the end of January 07. Now we are moving along with
RXM/AOM/POM in the ED.

Thank You,
