Good Day, We are Magic 5.4 SR3 site. For the past month we have been experiencing intermittent problems with our label printers. We have 2 Datamax I class that we have been using since June of 06. They have worked just fine until we had a hard downtime about a month ago. When the system came back up, the only lingering problem concerned printing issues. The lab did not experience any of these problems.
Now, about once a day the printers (both of them) will cease to print. The print queue shows the jobs waiting. MIS will clear the queues and cancel jobs, and many times the printers will be ok for a while-but sometimes you can't even force print labels. Meditechs solution----set the printers up as local. Has anyone experienced anything similar or maybe have a solution?
