As our site embarks on developing and "cleaning up" our existing OE
dictionaries, we wondered if sites had taken the initiative to develop
standards for naming of order sets, procedures and aliases that make it
"intuitive" (which is of course very subjective) for the users (doctors,
nurses, unit clerks, allied health, etc). Did you use any external
guidelines or standards to develop your own? If so, which resources did
you use? Did you find that you had to develop different standards based
on the unit or discipline? Would you be willing to share those standards
with our site?

We are Magic 5.5 SR1, going to 5.61 in Fall 2007.

Thanks in advance,
Saira
