Is anyone using E signature for Pathology? Is there a way that the documents that need signed out go to a queue like the ITS report do? Is this a parameter? On the main Meditech default Pathology menu they give you a Sign Documents icon but when you click on this screen it always comes back that you have nothing in your queue.
Our older pathologists just use the menu option under the default Findings Entry icon and then select Pathologists sign out. But the newer pathologists think this way is very cumbersome. I have to agree. I thought that it should work like the ITS reports that are set up for electronic signature and go to a queue and then you can see them in Sign document tracking icon. Does anyone have this set up and how did you go about setting it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. We are CS 5.5.2 site. Teresa Zydonik I.S.
