I've used them both at more than one facility and don't have those
issues (headaches are caused by other things <grin>). At one facility,
the biggest issue was that the financial areas use Print Screen and
copy/paste frequently and that doesn't work in 4x in the same way it
does in 3x. The popup box messes that up in 4x. I've been at sites
where it has been rolled out successfully, so I'd say - persevere! As
we move into the newer Meditech modules, there is no choice, so it's
inevitable.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Meditech and the NUI 4.20 problems

Hello all, I'm posting this on behalf of a couple of our Analysts here
at Saratoga Hospital.

"We are in the process of having our users test Meditech's NUI 4.20 with
the anticipation of removing the old 3.x version in the next few months.
Most of the complaints we are receiving are related to the colors of the
menus and lookups. Users are complaining of eye strain and headaches
because things just don't stand out like the colors provided in the
older versions.

Can anyone tell us if you experienced the same problems and how you
handeled it with your users?"

If you have any comments and wish to respond directly to someone instead
of broadcasting to the "L", please email

either Nan Till [EMAIL PROTECTED]
<BLOCKED::mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>    or  Mark Pidgeon

Thank you,

Scott White
