Joe, you don't have commas after your first two statements in proc. You need those. Also, I'm assuming that proc is called from a LC or a specific computed field; the semicolon at the end of the line will be a problem if it's called from a footnote. Conversely, I'm assuming proc1 is called from a footnote; the lack of punctuation at the and of the last line will cause a goodbye if this macro is called from a LC or computed field.
