Our users were unhappy about losing their colors, but I've heard nothing
about headaches or eye strain.

We went around and removed the older workstation from every PC
throughout the hospital......we find one every so often that we missed.

I still have the older workstation on my desktop as well. Not really
sure why. I've like NUI from the start.

We have had the no complaints regarding eye strains that I have heard
about. When we went live with Meditech in 2001 we went live with NUI so
our users never saw the older work station colors. I used to keep a
copy of the older workstation on my desk top and when someone would come
to my office, I used to pull up the older workstation, (just to mess
with their heads a little :-) ) Funny thing is I got more negative
comments regarding the colors than I did positive from those that saw
them.

I've seen previous posts regarding this complaint but I had the opposite
experience when I implemented NUI. My users like it, especially the
older ones, and have told me it is actually easier for them to read NUI
screens. Maybe your screen resolution needs reset or something else is
causing the eye strain.

Hello all, I'm posting this on behalf of a couple of our
Analysts here at Saratoga Hospital.

"We are in the process of having our users test Meditech's NUI
4.20 with the anticipation of removing the old 3.x version in the next
few months. Most of the complaints we are receiving are related to the
colors of the menus and lookups. Users are complaining of eye strain and
headaches because things just don't stand out like the colors provided
in the older versions.

Can anyone tell us if you experienced the same problems and how
you handeled it with your users?"
