Hello out there in L-land! We are Magic 5.5 SR 1, and just went LIVE
with EDM in February. We have a 28 bed ED and the time it takes our
trackers to refresh takes up to 9 seconds. We have our refresh time set
to 30 seconds (per Meditech's recommendation) but our physicians are
getting really irritated with how long it takes the screen to refresh.
Meditech tells us that there is nothing that can be done to speed up the
time it takes the screen to refresh. We are getting ready to move into a
41 bed ED, so we are very concerned that it will take even longer. Has
anyone had this problem, and if so, how did you correct it?
