Hi folks,

We are a Magic shop for everything except we have C/S ITS. I was asked
to have a look at an NPR report within ITS and am having some problems.

The report is for importing into a database or spreadsheet, so it is
formatted as a "download" report using EFF NO, SFF NO, etc. The
delimiter is a semi-colon, so in the footnote it also has FD 59.

We are running it to an M-Print device (saved as text file), but when I
look at the resulting text file, each of the delimiters (the
semi-colons) are surrounded by a non-printable character and a Y on the
left and a non-printable character and a Z on the right. What's up with
that?

I had a look at the object code that translates and it is actually in
there as: I(D(27)_"Y"_D(59)_D(27)_"Z"_field

I can clearly see the Y and Z surrounding the semicolon ( ascii 59).
The non-printable characters are clearly escape characters.

I need to simply have the semi-colons in the file and no escape
characters or Y's or Z's surrounding them. Has anyone seen this
before? Any suggestions on what to try?

Thanks,

Dave.
