Who at your site handles in the OR the physician's block time, scheduling dictionaries, reporting , completion of cases, verifying supply charges from exception editing and Preference Cards (creating, editing, maintaining, make sure new items are adding to inventory)? Do you have a super user that the OR nurses will go to first before IS and who works with IS for updates and changes. Do you have one person in this position or more then one person sharing these responsibilities? Also, do you have job descriptions for this position in the OR that you are willing to share?
