Donna,

We used the Other Vendor Charge Interface at another hospital with a 3M
lab until going live with Meditech's Lab about three years ago. Lab
created a file nightly and an operator runs a routine in Bar Batch to
pull in the file. In our case the routine was scripted using
ScriptLink. The file can also be FTP'd to the billing machine. It
worked great as long as the file was created on the Lab side.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] BILLING Interface

OK, since I did not get any responses to my last post, I'll take that as
a "NO". So, my next question is does anyone out there utilize
Meditech's Billing Interface (other vendor to MT)? I'm looking for an
overview of how this interface works in real life, but haven't been able
to get an answer from Meditech yet.

Thanks,

Subject: Siemens Sensis with Meditech

Hi,

Is anyone out there using the Siemens Sensis system with Meditech in
their cath lab? We would be interested in learning about your
experiences with the 2 systems. We are also interested in learning
about possible interfaces you may have -- specifically any billing
interfaces and cath report interfaces.

Thanks,
