Hello all, I've been asked to gather some information on the use of Employee badges with barcodes on them.
We recently purchased a"proximity" type system for Employee identification, these badges have an internal code/number that will work with our door access software. The badge system allows us to include one or two barcode identifiers as well. Looking down the road to BMV, Cafeteria charges, etc. What would you think we should use as an employee identifier in the barcode? Employee mnemonic? Employee number?
