I also encountered this issue. Here is the fix , from KB article
#15058
>From Windows 2000:
At the File Path field, an F9 lookup is done and the FDB folder is
selected. The contents of the folder will default into the window. At this
point, select the first file "NDDF.MR4", and open. Meditech will respond
with an "INVALID PATH" error message. Using the BACKSPACE key, delete away
the "NDDF.MR4" filename until you reach the folder name "FDB", once you
reach this point, press enter. The file will begin to load
It does work!

Hi All,
I am trying to load first databank for the first time in test and I
am getting invalid path when I put in the file path. I have tried
another person's PC, moving the file, typing it in manually, copying the
path from the file properties and we have had DTSs loaded. I have loaded
medispan for several years without a problem. Has anyone else had this
problem? We are Magic 5.4.
