I have a problem with the current/standard List Location Activity report that
is on the Ancillary Menu in OE.
We have found this report to be very helpful. It shows all the patients
entering and leaving a specific unit. This can really demonstrate the workload
on a unit. If they have 15 discharges, 3 ICU transfers and 12 admissions in 24
hours.. you know they were busy.
This can be helpful from a QA perspective. If I can identify all the patients
discharged or admitted to my unit I can focus my QA of specific documentation
elements (paper activity especially that can not be captured on some sort of
report)

We recently opened our eyes a bit further and realized that "out patients in a
bed" are not showing up on this report.

When I questioned Meditech..and tried to say it is was a design flaw... after a
bit of persistence I got a very nice "WAD" and there are no plans to do any
different.

Has anyone written a taken this report and redone it to include this SAC type
patient??
