Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Suicide screening and AssessmentsOur sites (C/S & Magic) are building suicide screening and suicide assessments for both EDM and PCS. We would like to know if some other hospitals have done this and what their experience has been.
Currently we built the EDM triage assessment and PCS admission assessments with suicide screening queries. We have a trigger query that prompts the nurse to add & complete the suicide assessment if there are any positive findings from the suicide screening queries. In PCS we query link to add the intervention Suicide assessment. But we are trying to streamline the screening process.
How have others handle this?
