Good afternoon, L'ers;

                On a slightly technical note, has anyone installed, or
upgraded to, the CISCO 6513 core switch? Did you find certain factory
settings to be adverse to the normal operation of Meditech?

                We are a MAGIC OSAL shop and just did the upgrade from a
CISCO 4500 series switch to the 6513. Did you know that there are
factory settings that will crash your system!!?? Meditech seemed to be
unaware of these, as they told our network specialist to go to CISCO's
website for answers, and gave us a command from a much older CISCO OS
version that was supposed to fix it!

                Has anyone had these experiences? We should share this
with other CISCO shops, as getting answers from Meditech was just about
impossible!!

Thanks!!

Tony
