Thanks to everyone that has been sending responses to my questions.
Meditech had informed me that this was the case in both CS and Magic.
After receiving all of the responses, I learned there is a dictionary
setting in Magic to prevent this. In CS, Meditech has just informed me
there are two customs available. One to prevent all unverified orders
from going to the e-MAR and the other only to allow STAT orders to go to
the e-MAR.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR and unverified Meds

Good morning,

In testing POM we noticed that medications ordered (as unverified) cross
over to the e-MAR. We think this will be a problem when we go up with
POM. I opened a task with Meditech and they stated we have been the
only ones that have complained on this issue. Has anyone else found
this to be a problem? Do your Docs enter verified meds?

Thanks,
