We are just in the process of setting up dictionaries for POM.

But, we will definitely be having physicians enter orders as unverified, so
that a pharmacist can check doses, compatibilities, etc, before the med is
available for administration.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR and unverified Meds

Good morning,

In testing POM we noticed that medications ordered (as unverified) cross over
to the e-MAR. We think this will be a problem when we go up with POM. I
opened a task with Meditech and they stated we have been the only ones that
have complained on this issue. Has anyone else found this to be a problem? Do
your Docs enter verified meds?

Thanks,

Terry Angeloni
