Does anyone have a usable method of documenting whether critical results from
radiology reports have been called? We thought of pulling a list of patients
who had certain diagnosis codes attached to their visit, but diagnosis codes
are not attached to specific exams; only to a visit. Since a patient can have a
number of exams during their stay and any of the eams could be the basis for a
critical result, that does not seem workable. Any ideas?
