Debra:

We have not had that problem, we have a 42 inch Gateway Plasma Monitor.
The Public Tracker does take up the width of the screen, but there is a
small space at the bottom of the monitor screen that is not covered by
the tracker.

We have our EDM PUBLIC TRACKER set to move around alittle every few
seconds to prevent burn on the monitor (SCREEN PROTECTION).

Tracker PUBLIC Public Tracker

Display this text in toolbar area:PUBLIC TRACKER

Scroll regions every seconds.

Screen Protection On? Y

Now that being said, on the PC that runs the PUBLIC TRACKER, on the
display properties and appearance we have the screen resolution set to
800 x 600 pixels and the color quality set to Highest (32 bit).

Windows Classic Theme

Works for us.

Good Luck,

Good Morning L!

With 16 whole days of EDM (Magic 5.5) experience we have the Sony
KDL-46S2010 46" LCD Display monitors. We are pleased with them except.
. . .

With several attempts, we have still not solved the mystery of getting
the tracker to completely cover the screen -- it is in the center, but
still has space on each side.

Several IT, engineers, nursing staff and calls to Sony (including the
Meditech Apps during Go-Live) have attempted to fix it, but no success
to date.

We've adjusted the size on the Workstation 4.2, we've adjusted the
horizontal/vert on the screen, even read the Sony manual! -- still not
covering the entire screen.

Any ideas?

We are in the process of implementing the EDM module and would like to
know what other sites are using for equipment for the big screen display
of the patient tracker. If you would be willing to share the make/model
of the display that you chose and whether or not it's working well for
you, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Marj
