We have two (2) EMC Clariion CX-700 SANs, one in our Primary Data Center and one in our Secondary Data Center - and they replicate between the two. We've had them for 3 years now - initially, they were installed for PACS but with the intent of leveraging them for other apps as well. About 6-9 months ago, we migrated all of our MEDITECH Magic OSAL servers to the SANs as well - and that went very smoothly. We are planning on implementing ISB and IDR this Fall/Winter. In the future, we hope to move Exchange to the SANs, and possibly other apps as well. I hope this helps. What SAN did you go with? Is it a corporate SAN or just used with Meditech? Do you still set purge parameters in your modules or keep everything for years?
