(Allergy/Adverse Reactions screen- For Interaction Checking) I would be interested in speaking with anyone who is currently doing this. Our pharmacist is asking that we enter allergies as ingredient allergies when available. We are concerned about our process we may need to implement that will help the user when they are not able to find what they need. The first option is to call the pharmacy, however we do not have a 24 hour pharmacy. We have an evening Pharmacy Service we can contact which would be our 2nd option. Our Nursing Director has concerns about how much time we may be adding to the nurses workload. We will be looking at creating some type of cross reference for very common allergies that need to be addressed outside of the 'ingredient' world. A quick reference, but obviously we won't be able to cover every scenario. Any thoughts, suggestions, and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Please reply to the contact noted below. Thanks in advance! Laura Smolarek Riverview Hospital 715.424.8571 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
