We are seeing a problem with our compounded meds (GI cocktail for
example). If one of the ingredients is in the Pyxis medstation, it
automatically defaults to dispense from Pyxis. If the pharmacist does
not notice this and change the dispense location to the main pharmacy,
Pyxis allows the nurses to pull some of the medications separately. Has
anyone found a fix for this?
