I'm surprised to hear you are having trouble with the LaserBands. We
have been using LaserBands combined Adult/Baby bands in L&D ( product #
LB2-MFB) for almost two years now and love them. They have the "unique
ID #" so we were even able to do away with the additional band we used
to use to match mom with baby. We also use their "ConfyCuff's" on the
smaller babies. Have you tried them? We piloted BMV in our NICU when we
first went LIVE and they scanned so well that we ended up switching to
their adult bands as well (LB2- Adult L3) and they are scanning
wonderfully. Previously we used TriState and we had lots a problems with
them.

Thanks, Susan :-)
