Actually, Karma decay is not difficult with the current implementation (Social News does it already for "karma" of individual news items), it is just that I haven't understood that as a requirement. So sure, if we want Karma decay (or time-based Karma appreciation), I'll be more than happy to implement that for maemo.org.
