Interestingly Marko Ahtisaari talks about having customisable
homescreens and lots of buttons... Let that now be all the stuff we have
started to strip of Dali... :(
We also dropped flash now in favour of a browser with a more "iPhone"
like "experience".
And I don't consider disappearing scrollbars and removal of close
buttons useful innovations.
Also trying to force users to give up personal info (cherryui)
See for example the nice threads on our own maemo.org site

Is a bad move. And as long as our development environment is impossible
to use (the new security framework can hopefully be disabled) we won't
get apps eithere. Regardless if ovi finally starts to be usable or not.

Fact is, as long a we keep on this path of creating an "iPhonY", Nokia
is doomed.

Sorry for being so negative, but management really needs to start to
understand that all the Nokia is doomed articles are not far off the
mark and we need to change. Nokia is a company with talent and real
capabilities. It is just not using it.

Cheers,

Philippe
