Randy I saw your post back then, and I thought it was a good one when Nokia was still in the game, but now is not then, so much has happen since then, and MeeGo and Intel are still thinking "just a few more month of Pain for developers and it will all be worth it". This week I attended the Motorola Dev meeting, and for just attending that through Adobe Connection I received a Moto XOOM Tablet two days later. I am sad to say that anyone in his right mind would start tinkering with the Tablet and writing "fragments" using the Android 3.0 target, it is a shame that Intel hasn't gotten in gear on getting working touch devices into the hand of the best development team they can get their hands on, how about any and all development teams. Warm Regards, George

The idea was met with mixed sentiments and gained no momentum. IMO something like that needs to be run by the Linux Foundation, and I understand there would be hurdles IF it were anything more than a recognition program that could simply be leveraged by activities such as device dispensation. I still think there's merit in the idea, so I plan to file it as a "bug" under community process. Thoughts welcome.
